I am Julie Sun, founder of Kindle Causes. For more than 15 years, I have worked in communication and brand management for private companies, the federal government, and nonprofit organizations. I have seen firsthand how the right message, paired with a solid strategy, can transform the way people connect with a brand.

My passion for meaningful communication began much earlier. I grew up watching my parents build their upholstery shop. They were immigrants with big dreams but little understanding of marketing. They relied on word of mouth and a small weekend newspaper ad to reach customers.

When the economic downturn hit, their business could not survive. Watching that unfold showed me how essential strong messaging and thoughtful outreach are for growth and resilience.
